   Proposal Description:
   Data requested is to assist with hypothesis generation for a grant submission.    This project focuses to develop novel statistical methods for identification of drug repurposing signals for Alzheimer?s disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD) with electronic health records data. Specifically, we will propose a novel regression framework to account for confounding and modifying effects from both risk and reliance factors as well as other potential factors for detection of drug repurposing signals. Furthermore, we will validate the efficacy and safety of candidate drugs for AD/ADRD using multiple existing IPD datasets.    I am affiliated with the former UT Southwestern Medical Center ADC (PI: Rosenberg).
